In honor of the Medical Library Association annual meeting being in Chicago this year, the SLA-Illinois chapter will have special tour of the library and exhibits of the International Museum of Surgical Science (https://imss.org/), 1524 N Lake Shore Dr, Chicago, IL. The tour will be Monday, May 6 at 3:00 pm.
The Thorek Manuscripts and Rare Books Collection consists of over 1,000 rare texts and spans over 1,200 years of history.
Because there is a cost of $10 per person, please RSVP to David Bender at dbender@rsna.org by May 1st. Non-members, co-workers, friends, and those just interested in surgery are welcome to join us.
