If you missed attending this free virtual symposium “live”, the recordings and the presentation PDFs of the MIRL (Medical Institutional Repositories in Libraries) 2021 meeting are available here. The keynoter was Kathryn Funk (Program Manager of Pubmed Central), from the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
The presentations might be of particular interest to those whose work landscape includes institutional repositories. Topics include scholarly publishing and institutional-repository use cases at various types of health sciences libraries. Several of the vendor presentations, also, might be of interest. There were a few presenters who are based at Midwestern institutions, including in Illinois.
