Reminder: Registration Open for ILA Marketing Forum on DEI (Fri., Nov. 19, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

Posted on November 17, 2021 by Eric Edwards

(via the Illinois Library Association)

Join the ILA Marketing Forum for its monthly roundtable discussion on Friday, November 19, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM CDT. The theme of the discussion will be “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)”.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is on everyone’s mind, but where do you begin, and how do you integrate it into your marketing and communications efforts? Staff from the Downers Grove Public Library, the La Grange Park Public Library, and the Northbrook Public Library discuss how they have implemented DEI in their respective libraries through anti-hate statements and staff inclusivity toolkits, as well as how they are launching their DEI initiatives.

This is a free event open to all Illinois libraries. Registration is required and will close at 10:00 AM on the day of the event. For more information, and to register, please go here.

This event will be recorded and uploaded to the ILA Marketing Forum page on the ILA website. If you have any questions about this roundtable, please contact Tamara Jenkins, at tjenkins@ila.org.
