All RAILS members are invited to join us for a RAILS Member Update on Thursday, April 16, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The update will be held via Zoom. Register here and you will be emailed a link to join the Zoom meeting. View agenda.
We will discuss a variety of topics related to COVID-19 and libraries, including:
- Libraries as essential services
- Furloughs
- Safe handling of library materials
- Reports on current virtual services libraries are offering now or planning, including virtual summer reading programs
- Reopening plans
We’d like to emphasize that we are asking libraries to share their reopening plans with us. Although we’ll discuss reopenings at the member update, we also ask members to continue to share your plans after that time. Please e-mail your plans to Stacy Palmisano.
