In addition to the ACRL Librarian/Researcher of the Year Award (I am on the committee), all of the ACRL award deadlines are rapidly approaching in early December. I encourage you and urge you to please encourage your groups to consider making nominations. It would be unfortunate to leave an award “on the table,” not because there were not worthy nominees, but because someone failed to be nominated (or self-nominated). This is one of the ways we can honor our hard-working and deserving colleagues, so let’s take advantage of the opportunity.
