Registration Open for Webinar “Professional Development for All Library Workers: Barriers and Benefits” (Tues., Aug. 10, 12:00-1:00 PM CDT)

Please join the Librarian Education Reform Discussion Group for our August meeting, on Tuesday, August 10, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM CDT. This month, we welcome Mandi Goodsett, Performing Arts and Humanities Librarian and OER and Copyright Advisor at Cleveland State University. She will present on “Professional Development for All Library Workers: Barriers and Benefits”.

The presentation will discuss professional development opportunities and experiences available to LIS students and aspiring library workers, both within and outside of graduate school. Additionally, attendees will learn how access to professional development plays a role in equity, diversity, and inclusion in librarianship.
