Similar to biological organisms, our organizations require healthy and effective systems in order to thrive. A holistic view of libraries as a system makes possible new insights and approaches to old challenges. In this session, learn how Delaware libraries are applying a systems approach, using data strategically and holistically to increase their value and to improve services and outcomes for Delawareans.
Dr. Annie Norman is State Librarian of Delaware, and under her leadership the Delaware Division of Libraries received the Delaware Quality Award of Merit and the Delaware Library Association Institutional Award in recognition of performance excellence principles and practices. She currently serves on the boards of the Delaware Quality Partnership and the Mid-Atlantic Alliance for Performance Excellence, and is also a member of the Working Group for the national COSLA/IMLS Measures That Matter data project.
