Registration Open for NNLM Region 1 Webinar “Identifying and Providing Health Educational Materials for Migrant Farmworkers” (Wed., Nov. 9, 1:00-2:00 PM CDT)

Please join NNLM’s Region 1 on Wednesday, November 9, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM CDT for the webinar “Identifying and Providing Health Educational Materials for Migrant Farmworkers”. Presenter Jamie Bloss (MLIS, AHIP) is an associate professor at Laupus Health Sciences Library and the liaison librarian to the College of Allied Health Sciences and the School of Dental Medicine at East Carolina University.

The webinar will cover the following topics.

  • The importance of community partnerships in supporting health information for migrant farmworkers
  • Ideas on how health science librarians and libraries can support migrant farmworkers
  • Future needs of the migrant and seasonal farmworker population

This class is worth 1.00 hour CE credit.
