Registration is open for the MLA webinar “Micro-Changes that Matter: Strategic Responses for Shifting Medical Library Environments”. It will take place on Thursday, March 12, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM CDT. Please see below for more information, including the link to registration.
This webinar will offer practical tools to recognize, interpret, and respond to change in medical library environments. It will also offer strategies for making small, effective micro-changes that keep services and projects moving forward when resources are limited. Finally, it will help to build skills to strengthen communication, boundaries, and resilience, helping participants thrive in their roles.
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand internal and external forces creating pressure to shift within environments.
- Recognize change management models relevant to library environments.
- Gain insight to areas that can present challenges to change.
- Apply micro-level strategies to adapt services, structures, and manage individual reactions to change.
