The Association of North Carolina Health and Science Libraries (ANCHASL) is holding its Virtual ’25 Fall Meeting and CE class on Tuesday December 2, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM CDT. Taught by Nora Burmeister, the topic of the class will be on “Accessible Library Content: Navigating Federal Accessibility Guidelines”, and the class will offer 1.5 MLA CE credit hours for attendees.
This class will focus on ways for libraries to proactively ensure that the content they provide to users is compliant with current federal guidelines. Through a structured approach, participants will explore essential laws surrounding accessibility, learn practical strategies for enhancing accessibility of local content, and discuss web content guidelines and best practices to ensure all patrons, regardless of disabilities, can access information.
Attendance is open to non-members for $25. The class will be recorded and shared with registrants if you have a conflict on December 2. Membership is only $20, so save $5 on the CE class and join ANCHASL today!
