ACRL invites you to join us from Wednesday, July 15, to Friday, July 17, at Loyola University Chicago for Immersion ‘26, an intensive, three‑day learning experience designed for library workers who want to reflect deeply on their teaching practice, expand their theoretical grounding, and build lasting professional connections. Registration is now available!
Immersion ’26 invites participants to step back from the day‑to‑day and engage in critical exploration of what it means to teach, lead, and influence learning in higher education. Through collaborative inquiry, reflective practice, and guided conversations, you’ll examine your educational role, challenge assumptions about teaching and learning, and develop a more intentional, critically informed approach to your work. Immersion is more than a workshop; it’s a long‑term investment in your professional identity and growth. You’ll leave with new frameworks, new collaborators, and a renewed sense of purpose in your work as an educator and change agent in libraries.
