The ACRL Residency Interest Group will be hosting a webinar with Library Freedom Project on digital security strategies. Titled “Digital Security Strategies: Protecting Ourselves Online and Resisting Harassment”, the webinar will take place on Tuesday August 12, from 3:00 to 4:30 PM CDT.
In this political climate, various tactics are being used to intimidate and silence scholarship. Those from historically marginalized communities are particularly at risk. LFP director, Alison Macrina will present this webinar to provide practical tools and proactive strategies to help you protect your personal information online. We will explore threats and vulnerabilities unique to diversity residents, and review best practices and strategies you can use to minimize risk.
