Registration is now open for the 2019 Conference on Libraries & Learning (CALL). This year’s conference will take place on the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse campus on Thursday, January 31, and will address the emotional labor of librarianship. During the day, presenters will explore ideas and techniques to:
- combating compassion fatigue in the workplace
- emotionally supporting one another professionally
- de-escalating emotionally charged interactions: librarian to patron and colleague to colleague
as well as
- workplace practices to nurture self-care
