Registration is OPEN for the Thursday, November 8 online conference, The Future of Cataloging: RDA, Linked Data, and More. This one-day conference is packed with exciting and informative sessions!
Kicking off the conference is Kathy Glennan, Chair-Elect of the RDA Steering Committee. Her keynote, Evolution of the RDA Toolkit and Its Impact on Catalogers, will provide information about the external and internal factors that have driven the RDA Toolkit Restructure and Redesign Project, and will discuss what catalogers need to do to get ready for the new Toolkit.
During the day, learn from a variety of peers and experts – each time slot offers two or three different programming options. A sampling of the sessions include:
- The Community College Perspective: RDA Conversion in a Small Academic Library
- Planning for Linked Data
- What Google can Teach us About Cataloging
- Cartographic Cataloging
