We encourage you to submit a proposal for a presentation for a session or poster for the 21st Annual Illinois Community College Assessment Fair on Friday, February 24. The proposal submission deadline is Friday, January 27.
This year’s conference is hosted by Prairie State College. The theme is “Assessment: Just and Fair”, and the keynote speaker will be Norbert Elliot, Professor Emeritus at New Jersey Institute of Technology. In his presentation, “Ethical Theory, Writing Performance, and Assessment of Student Learning: Foundational Principles”, he will address fairness in assessment and its relation to validity and reliability.
