The Health Science Librarians of Illinois (HSLI) 2020 Conference, previously scheduled for September 2-4 at Starved Rock Lodge & Conference Center (located in Oglesby, IL), has been cancelled. It is rescheduled for Wednesday, October 27, through Friday, October 29, 2021, at the same location.
The many uncertainties surrounding the current COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our membership, in addition to our educational and healthcare institutions, have made a face-to-face conference impractical for this September. The HSLI Board will be making an announcement later this summer regarding an online fall business meeting, likely to be scheduled for September or October. Our Conference Planning Committee will be investigating the possibility of hosting some sort of online continuing education, also for sometime in the fall.
