There is no time like the present to celebrate libraries as institutions supporting inquiry and access to information, while exploring opportunities for inclusivity in our research and practice. Join us from Wednesday, June 14, to Friday, June 16, at Stony Brook University for the SUNYLA 2017 Annual Conference, where we will come together to share and learn about the diverse ways we meet users needs in our collections, spaces, and services. Librarians and library staff members (SUNY and non-SUNY) are invited to submit proposals for pre-conference workshops and conference presentations in the following tracks.
- open-education and open-access resources
- management and leadership
- systems and technology
- public services and ILL
- professional development
- reference and instruction
- collection development
- archives and special collections
- designing spaces
- cataloging and technical services
- scholarly communication
- diversity
- outreach and marketing
If you aren’t sure which track your presentation fits into, submit your proposal anyway, and we will determine which track best suits your proposal. Proposals will be accepted for both pre-conference workshops and conference presentations. The pre-conference workshops will take place on Wednesday, June 14, and will last 90 minutes each.
