Call for Responses: Survey on Scholarly Expectations and Practices for Academic Librarians

Posted on September 23, 2018 by Eric Edwards

(via Gwen Gregory, University of Illinois at Chicago)

Greetings and apologies for any cross-duplication!

The ACRL Impactful Scholarship and Metrics Task Force is conducting a survey regarding scholarly expectations for academic librarians, along with current practice and opinions regarding academic librarianship scholarship.

https://american.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3PIwdPvPiYxbQQl

This survey will be used to help draft a framework for the evaluation of academic librarian scholarship, so academic librarian input is both needed and welcomed!

The survey consists of 20 questions, and should take 10-15 minutes to complete.

The survey is entirely voluntary, and all responses are optional.

Any questions or concerns can be sent to Rachel Borchardt, Task Force Chair, at borchard@american.edu

Thank you for helping to shape the future of academic librarianship scholarship evaluation!

Sincerely,

The ACRL Impactful Scholarship and Metrics Task Force
