The 2025 Southeast Data Librarian Symposium (SEDLS) conference will be take place online from Wednesday, October 8, to Friday, October 10. The call for proposals is now open.
This year’s theme is “Save the Data”. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following ones.
- Democratizing access to data
- Responsible use of AI in libraries/research
- Protecting sensitive data
- Compliance with public access policies for data
- Data literacy in teaching and research
We invite proposals for virtual workshops, short talks, and poster presentations for SEDLS 2025! Check out last year’s program to view abstracts, posters, and presentation recordings for an idea of content.
Please submit your proposal to the Google form by Friday June 27.Proposal abstracts will undergo blind peer review and proposers will be notified of programming decisions in early August.
