The journal Science & Technology Libraries, published by Taylor & Francis, is soliciting submissions for both peer-reviewed and editor-reviewed featured articles for a special issue on evidence synthesis. Topics of interest may include, but are not limited to, the following ones.
- How do you support systematic reviews with little prior experience, background, and expertise?
- How do you build support/policies/service with the backing of library administrators to create sustainable boundaries?
- How to guide researchers to the right type of evidence synthesis?
- State of the profession – current lit review of systematic reviews
- Challenges experienced or anticipated with evidence synthesis support for non-health related disciplinary perspectives?
- What are best practices for working with faculty in different non-health fields: Engineering, Biology, Computer Science, Earth Science, etc.
- Other topics are welcome.
Accepted articles are anticipated to be published in Volume 46, Issue 4, in 2026. Expressions of interest for this special issue are due Sunday, August 31, 2025, via the proposal form. Once approved for the issue, completed articles will be due to the guest editors February 28, 2026.
