Call for Participation: Survey on Library Staff Perceptions of Students’ Information Literacy Skills

Posted on April 24, 2021 by Eric Edwards

(via Liz Miller, University of Arkansas at Little Rock)

I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, currently conducting dissertation research regarding professional and paraprofessional library staffs’ perceived information literacy ability and skill expectations for students at the secondary and postsecondary educational levels.  I am seeking your participation for this survey.

My research endeavors will guide current information literacy instruction practice, providing secondary and postsecondary educational level educators with strategies to support learner’s development of information literacy.

Your participation in this research endeavor is voluntary and all responses are anonymous and confidential.  I would appreciate your willingness to contribute 40 minutes of your time in completing a web-based survey, accessible through this link.

I thank you in advance for your assistance in broadening our understanding of information literacy instruction in both the secondary and postsecondary educational levels.
