The Excellence in Academic Libraries Awards Committee seeks nominations for this year’s Excellence in Academic Libraries Awards. The original deadline has been extended, with nominations now due Friday December 12, 2025.
These annual awards recognize libraries where librarians and staff work together as a team to develop libraries that are outstanding in furthering the educational missions of their institutions. Award categories include Community and Junior College Libraries, College Libraries, University Libraries, and a new category for Non-Degree Granting Institutions/Other Research Libraries. Criteria include 1) advancement of the institutional mission, 2) impact, 3) initiative, 4) innovation, and 5) collaboration.
