The DEI Subcommittee of the ILA Executive Board is accepting applications for the first round of 2026 Inclusive Travel Grants for National Conferences. These grants seek to advance one of the core strategic values of the ILA Strategic Plan: “Diversity and equity of opportunity”.
Three $2,000 stipends (awarded upfront, no reimbursement) will be awarded to librarians and library staff who have faced structural barriers to national participation, including those eligible for the ALA’s Spectrum Scholarships, people with disabilities, people who identify as LGBTQUIA+, and rural librarians or library staff.
