Call for Applicants: “Internationalizing the Community College Library” Workshop on July 26

Posted on June 2, 2019 by Eric Edwards

(via CARLI)

“Internationalizing the Community College Library” is a project supported by the International and Area Studies Library and the Center for Global Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Funding is available to support a one-day workshop for librarians from community colleges in Illinois on July 26, 2019. The workshop will provide opportunities for librarians to share and explore strategies for internationalizing your library. Through this one-day workshop, community college librarians will have the opportunity to present institutional self-assessment reports, share expertise on user services, outreach and engagement initiatives, and discuss ways to form linkages with international counterparts.  Participants will receive a $100.00 stipend and free overnight lodging on July 25.

Please see the Center for Global Studies web site for more information and to apply.
