Dr. Nicole A. Cooke, Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s School of Information Sciences, was the ACRL Member of the Week for September 26 to October 2. In her interview with ACRL, Dr. Cooke discusses her engagement with the organization, including participating in the Immersion program (the program and intentional teaching tracks) and encouraging her students to use ACRL resources and documents. Regarding her work at UIUC, she describes the benefits of collaborating with faculty outside of the library on such issues as accessibility, copyright, and microaggressions.
