Join the LLAMA LIS New Professionals Outreach group for its last webinar, “When Antiracist Reading Lists Aren’t Enough” . The presenter is Dr. Nicole Cooke, and the webinar will take place on Thursday, August 20. Following up on her column in Publishers Weekly, Dr. Cooke will reiterate her assertion that reading popular books is not enough to become antiracist and present concrete steps to engage in critical self-reflection, to develop critical consciousness, and to focus on action and advocacy.

The event will take place on Facebook Live, via the University of South Carolina School of Information Science Facebook page. Registration is not required.
