We are excited to see everyone in person at the 2026 Midwest Data Librarian Symposium (MDLS) at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, from Monday, September 28, to Wednesday, September 30. The in-person format will include networking and unconference-type hands-on sessions as well as lightning talks, longer presentations, panels, and workshops. Attendance will be capped at 60 in-person spots. For those unable to join us, presentation slides will be made available on Zenodo for future viewing.
The Midwest Data Librarian Symposium is intended to provide librarians who support research data management and research data services the chance to network and expand their research data-related knowledge base and skill sets. MDLS is open to all who wish to attend, including those from the Midwest and beyond, as well as librarians in training.
Stay tuned for more announcements. Check the MDLS webpage or join the MDLS listserv for updates as they become available.
