This is a reminder that registration for continuing education sessions at the Annual Conference of the Medical Library Association’s Midwest Chapter closes Monday, October 13, at 12:00 PM CDT. The theme is “Imagination & Co-Creation”. At a time when long-standing norms and organizations are crumbling, how are we anchoring ourselves as health sciences information professionals with a strong sense of our core values and skills? How can we meet this moment not with fear, but by imagining the world we want, and confidently working together to build something new?
Due to low enrollment for the in-person sites, the Conference organizers have decided not to offer host sites (Minneapolis and Kalamazoo) as an attendance option. The Conference will take place only virtually this year, via Zoom.
Tuesday, October 14, will consists of a full day of continuing education. Two full days of programming will follow on Thursday, October 16, and Friday, October 17. Please view the full schedule here.
To register, please go here. Registration includes one designated free CE class. More information on the CE sessions is available here.
