Registration Open for NNLM Webinar “Preparing Your Library for Weather Emergencies”–Fri., Sept. 19, 12:00-1:00 PM CDT

Registration is open for the NNLM webinar “Preparing Your Library for Weather Emergencies”. It will take place on Friday, September 19, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM CDT. Please see below for more information, including the link to registration.

This one-hour session will equip participants with practical strategies to prepare their library or worksite for environmental disasters. Attendees will learn how to assess potential environmental threats, create a site-specific disaster preparedness plan, and assemble emergency kits. The session will also provide guidance on first response actions during weather-related and other environmental emergencies, helping participants build confidence and take proactive steps toward preparedness.

The speaker is JoAnn Zeise, Curator of the Waring Historical Library at the Medical University of South Carolina.

The course is worth 1.00 hour of MLA CE credit. NNLM Region 2 is the sponsor.
