Registration is open for the NNLM webinar “How PubMed Works: Introduction”. It will take place on Wednesday, June 11, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM CDT. Please see below for more information, including the link to registration.
This session addresses increasing health information access and use by highlighting features of the National Library of Medicine’s PubMed bibliographic database.
Objectives
By the end of the session, you’ll be able to:
- State what PubMed is and what’s in it.
- Find the original research that is the basis for a news article.
- Find articles by a specific author.
- Search for articles on a specific subject.
- Narrow search results to a more specific subset
- Explore the Advanced Search Builder and Search History.
The instructors are April Hobbs, Research and Data Strategist for NNLM Region 2, and Nick Vera, User Experience and Education Strategist for NNLM Region 2.
The course is worth 1.50 hours of MLA CE credit. This is a national NNLM class at the “Beginner” and “Intermediate” levels.
