“Basic SQL”
Taught by Mike Pullin, this course provides an introduction to the basics of Structured Query Language including terminology, design, working with databases, and working with the PHP scripting language. Through instruction and completing in-class exercises which build on previous assignments, attendees can expect to achieve the following learning objectives: Understand terminology and relational (linked) databases (tables), Design a small database and write SQL statements, Demonstrate ability to add/delete data from database, Understand how PHP works with MySQL.
This course consists of three 2-hour sessions.
