(via IACRL)
Join the Illinois Association of College and Research Libraries Forum (IACRL) Conference and Continuing Education Committee for its Spring Sampler 2026 online Wednesday, April 22, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM CDT. This free, virtual conference is a great way to network and see the work being done by academic libraries and library workers across the state of Illinois and in all areas of library work.
This year’s theme is “AI in Academic Libraries” and will feature keynote speaker Nick Tanzi, The Digital Librarian. The event will also include lightning talks and roundtable discussions.
Submit a lightning talk or roundtable discussion!
The Committee is looking for academic library workers who are interested in presenting and/or facilitating discussions about the many ways AI is impacting the library and your work. Submissions for one or both formats can be entered through the form at this link. The submission deadline has been extended to Friday, April 17.
Questions about the event, the call to participate, or proposals? Contact Nestor Osorio, IACRL President-Elect, at nosorio@niu.edu.
