The waitlist for the “PubMed for Trainers” course is still open. The course is intended for those who currently train, or plan to train, others in using PubMed. In addition to PubMed, MEDLINE will be covered, as will Medical Subject Headings (MeSH). The course will consist of four sessions, with the first three (September 3, 10, and 17) being held online and the last one (September 25) taking place in person on the University of Illinois at Chicago campus. Each of the online meetings will last 90 minutes, plus an optional 30-minute instructional design session. The in-person meeting will last all day.
The entire course is worth 13 CE hours from MLA, with an additional three hours added if one completes the optional instructional-design sessions. For more information on the course, including directions for signing up to be on the waitlist, go here.
