House narrowly passes $3 trillion coronavirus aid bill [Roll Call, 5/15/2020]
“Democrats’ bill would [provide, among other relief,] $100 billion for a public health fund for hospitals and other health care providers…. The Senate won’t take up the legislation in its current form, though key senators will begin discussions with Democratic leaders and the Trump administration.”

Several healthcare-related bills have been introduced this month, including: H.B.6666 COVID-19 Testing, Reaching, And Contacting Everyone (TRACE) Act [introduced 5/1/2020]
“This bill authorizes the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to award grants for testing, contact tracing, monitoring, and other activities to address COVID-19. Entities such as federally qualified health centers, nonprofit organizations, and certain hospitals and schools are eligible to receive such grants.”
