CARLI members were instrumental in the funding of the CARLI membership in the Open Textbook Network. The CARLI Board has established an Open Educational Resources Task Force that will support CARLI’s participation in the Open Textbook Network, will encourage cooperation and collaboration on open education resources, and will identify and develop materials about OER for libraries’ use with their institutions. CARLI is sending you this survey to identify what member libraries are currently doing regarding the use of open educational resources for teaching and learning
The link to the survey is here. The intended audience is staff at CARLI member libraries. Feel free to share this survey with others within your library as multiple responses per institution are welcome. All CARLI members are encouraged to complete the survey, even if your institution does not currently use or plan to use open educational resource, so that we have an accurate representation of the entire consortium.
The deadline for completing the survey is Monday, October 2. CARLI plans to share information gathered via this survey with its members including at the CARLI Update at the Illinois Library Association Annual Conference. Please direct any questions to CARLI Support, at support@carli.illinois.edu .
