Submit your proposal to present at a First Friday Forum hosted by the ACRL Health Sciences Interest Group. The topic must be relevant and specific to health sciences or medical librarianship. For instance, “Instruction for Undergraduate Nursing Students” or “Participating in Community Health Fairs” would be within the realm of acceptable topics; simply “Instruction for Undergraduates” or “Community Outreach” are not.
Forums are 90 minutes in length. Be prepared to present for the first hour (recorded) and host a discussion for the last 30 minutes (unrecorded). You may present alone or with co-presenters. Session formats can be a presentation with slides, a panel discussion, or lightning rounds. For lightning rounds and panel discussions, your proposal must include all presenters–we will not find or match you with other presenters. If you would like to suggest another format, please e-mail jules.bailey@fsu.edu.
Preference will be given to ACRL HSIG members.
Please submit a proposal here. We accept submissions on a rolling basis and ask that you submit your proposal at least one month before the scheduled forum. Available dates will be removed from this form as they are filled. You will be notified whether your proposal has been accepted within one week of submission.
