Library Table Talk is a podcast that explores what academic librarianship looks like in the day-to-day, across different types of institutions and roles. We invite other librarians for friendly and informal conversations about the practicalities, responsibilities, challenges, joys, and realities of academic librarianship as a job and as a career. Nothing is off the table.
For our 2025-26 season, we’re opening up one of our Spring, 2026, episodes to be hosted (and if you’re interested, edited) by YOU. We’d especially love proposals from early- to mid-career librarians who want to talk about a topic they’re curious or passionate about. As guest host, you would be responsible for the topic, format, and content of the episode.
See the full proposal requirements. Proposals are due Friday, August 15, 2025.
