You are invited to participate in a research study examining teaching attitudes and culturally responsive teaching strategies of academic librarians at minority serving institutions in the United States. This study aims to understand the relationship between teaching experience and attitudes of academic librarians, while also identifying culturally responsive teaching practices used in library instruction.
Your participation in this survey will contribute to the understanding of how academic librarians approach library instruction in diverse educational settings. The insights gained from this study will help identify teaching practices that support diverse student populations in academic libraries.

• Responses are anonymous and confidential – no identifiable data will be collected
• Data will be reported in group form only
Eligibility Criteria
Academic librarians tasked with teaching library instruction in private or public minority serving institutions, in rural, urban or suburban areas, and in two- or four-year colleges/universities in the United States.
Survey Period
The survey will be open for participation from Saturday, March 15, 2025, through Saturday, May 10, 2025.
