We are conducting a research study exploring academic library workers’ experiences with Artificial Intelligence(AI)-generated hallucinated or ghost articles. Ghost or hallucinated articles refer to citations that appear legitimate but reference non-existent works.
We invite you to participate in this study if your role includes either:
- Processing interlibrary loan article requests, or
- Assisting patrons in finding scholarly articles and research materials (reference services).
There are two separate surveys, one for each group. Each survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Your participation is voluntary, and all responses will remain confidential. The findings will provide insights into the prevalence of these requests.
