The Ames Library at Illinois Wesleyan University is conducting research about art collections in academic libraries. We are seeking participation in the Art Collection Practices Survey from a variety of academic libraries on different facets of art collection management. These include how the institution came into stewardship of the collection, administration and policies guiding the collection, providing discovery through cataloging and metadata, and how students and faculty interact with the collection.
This survey has been approved (Exempt Category 2) by the IWU Institutional Review Board (irb@iwu.edu).
Completion of this survey should take approximately 20 minutes. The survey will be open through Friday, February 27, 2026.
