Some of you may be aware that Lesley Wolfgang has resigned as Co-Chair of the HSLI Legislative Committee to focus on work commitments. I would like to thank her for keeping HSLI members informed of important legislative news at the federal level.
The remaining Co-Chair, Carmen Howard, continues to focus on tracking legislation at the Illinois level, but she would like a new Co-Chair to specialize in federal legislation. The person would be responsible for helping post updates to the Newsletter blog periodically (see here for examples of these types of posts) and giving part of the Legislative Committee’s update at the two annual HSLI Board meetings and the Business Meeting.
