Are you ready for an adventure!? Join your SLA IL colleagues for a visit of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and MuseumFriday, March 29th based in Springfield. (Please note that non-members are welcome to register.)
The museum features inspiring exhibits on Lincoln’s life, featuring rotating exhibits of the most precious artifacts related to Abraham Lincoln. Many are from the Taper Collection, acknowledged as the largest collection of Lincolniana in the world. After lunch, we’ll get a tour of the library with an opportunity to learn from the library staff.
Schedule:
10:00am – Self-guided group tour of Abraham Lincoln Museum
12:00pm – Lunch at Augie’s Front Burner
1:30pm – Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library tour and staff Q&A
3:00pm – Wrap up
