Illinois Library Organizations Seeking Community-College Input About Services for District Residents

Posted on November 6, 2017 by Eric Edwards

(via Margaret Chambers, CARLI)

The Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) and the Illinois Heartland Library System (IHLS), in partner with the Illinois State Library Unserved Working Group, are gathering information about what services Illinois Community College Libraries offer for district residents (those who live within your community college’s taxing district who are not students or college staff). We would appreciate libraries’ help in completing the survey so we may begin to put together a statewide picture of resource sharing opportunities and compile information that can be shared with your public library colleagues.

It only takes a few minutes, and we thank you in advance for your time. The survey can be accessed here. Please respond by 4:00 PM on Monday, November 20. If you have any questions, please contact Veronda Pitchford, RAILS, Director, Membership Development and Resource Sharing, at veronda.pitchford@railslibraries.info, or Ellen Popit, IHLS, Membership and Grants Director, at epopit@illinoisheartland.org.
