The IDS Project’s 13th Annual Summer Conference is July 27 and 28, at SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica, NY. This year’s conference theme is “Steering the Future, Together”. Approximately 200 attendees are expected.
The IDS Project Conference Planning Committee is seeking proposals for conference presentations and posters. In particular, IDS Project is looking for proposals focusing on any of the following topics.
- resource-sharing best practices
- combination of acquisitions, collection development, and ILL
- ILL statistics, data analysis, and data-driven decision-making
- best practices for large-scale weeding
- development and use of ILLiad add-ons
- ILL efficiency and productivity
- experiences with Tipasa at your library
- succession planning, staff training, and best practices
- assessment of resource-sharing policies, procedures, and systems
- effective software-development and implementation techniques
- sustainable ILL and green practices
- ILL copyright, fair use, licensing, and open access
