College of DuPage Library is seeking a part-time librarian to provide reference service, information literacy instruction and support of electronic resources for at least 20 hours per week and up to 26 hours per week. This is a term to term appointment assigned primarily to weekday, daytime hours, although evening and weekend hours may be required. The current hourly rate for part-time library faculty starts at $36.46.
Qualifications:
ALA-accredited MLS. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Up-to-date computing skills in a Microsoft environment required. Experience or aptitude and interest in electronic resource management. Recent MLS or recent reference experience in an academic or public library. Preferred: Professional reference experience in an academic library; web production skills; familiarity with Microsoft Access reports. Excellent professional references required.
