Registration Open for RUSA Webinar “The Art of Asking Good Questions using the Question Formulation Technique”–Wed., Oct. 29, 12:00-1:00 PM CDT

Registration is open for the ALA Reference and User Services Association webinar “The Art of Asking Good Questions using the Question Formulation Technique”. It will take place on Wednesday, October 29, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM CDT.

The Research as Inquiry frame from the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy centers question-asking as an essential part of the research process. In teaching Research as Inquiry, librarians at the University of New Mexico relied on adaptations of the Question Formulation Technique (QFT0, a relatively simple approach that helps learners generate questions and improve their question-asking asks. During This 60-minute webinar will lead participants through multiple versions of the Question Formulation Technique (QFT) .
