Registration is open for the NNLM Region 2-sponsored class “Team Science: Increasing the Pipeline of Black, Indigenous, People of Color and Women Conducting Clinical Research”. It will take place on Thursday, August 18, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM CDT. This class is worth 1.00 CE hour. Please see below for additional details, including the link to registration.

In this presentation, Dr. Wiley will discuss the current state of Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) and women conducting clinical research and will outline the value of team science as a method of increasing opportunities and fostering collaborative projects.

Objectives

  • Discuss the current state of Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) and women conducting clinical research.
  • Outline and provide examples of Team Science as a method of to promote a diverse and equitable clinical research workforce.
