Join the University of Central Florida Academic Affairs Diversity Taskforce at a Diversity Speaker Series virtual event featuring Jax Rogero, Office of Student Involvement. The webinar, titled “Believing the Unseen: Invisible Disabilities”, will take place on Wednesday, July 27, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM CDT.
The presentation explores myths and misconceptions around certain disabilities, examines implicit bias supported by real and fictional events, and addresses the discourse around “fad” or over diagnosing of certain disabilities.
