The NNLM National Center for Data Services (NCDS) will be teaching a four-part mini-course on the “Ethical Considerations of Data”. This 4-part course provides an intellectual grounding for the recognition, analysis, and resolution of ethical issues, including but not limited to ethical problems in data visualization, data sharing, and data collection.

  • Due to limited space, please only register if you can attend all four sessions.
  • The dates for the sessions are March 31, April 7, April 14 and April 21 (all Thursdays).
  • Each session is two hours long and will start at 12:00 PM CDT.
  • Learners who complete all four sessions will be eligible to receive eight MLA CE credits.

You can read more about the “Ethical Considerations of Data” mini-course here on our new blog, Bit by Bit.

Registration is open here. If you do not have an NNLM account, you will need to create one here.

If you would like to request a live-captioning option during each session, please contact nto@utah.edu.
