Reminder: Registration Open for ILA Noon Network Event “Sacred Ground: A Conversation with Timuel D. Black, Jr.” (Wed., Jan. 6, 12:00-1:00 PM)

The ILA Noon Network, in partnership with the ILA Intellectual Freedom Committee, is honored to present nationally respected educator, political activist, community leader, oral historian, philanthropist, and philosopher Timuel D. Black, Jr. During this special event, Mr. Black will discuss his book, Sacred Ground: The Chicago Streets of Timuel Black. This free event will be held at noon on Wednesday, January 6, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM CDT.

Registration is required and limited to Illinois libraries. This event will be recorded and posted on the ILA website at a later date. If you have any questions about this event, please contact Tamara Jenkins, at tjenkins@ila.org.
